Ashutosh Sharma –Marketing Officer Scale – II (Bank of India)

Q: Why did you choose Marketing as your Subject in MBA?
A: Marketing is a business philosophy and important function of management. It covers all the aspect of managing a product starting from creating, communicating and providing value to the customer. It includes and revolves around 4 P’s.
Q: Tell me something about Bank of India?
A: Bank of India started in 1906. It is the first Bank to open its branch outside India in 1946. It is member of SWIFT. It is First among 19 Nationalized Banks to get best service
award by Neilsen Survey. Its CMD is Mr. Alok Kumar Mishra
Q: What is Financial Inclusion?
A: Financial Inclusion means providing affordable services to the under privileged people and creating awareness among them about Banking.
Q: Why Banking?
A: It is one of the fastest growing sectors. It offers a lot of Learning & Growth opportunities. It provides Social Recognition & it s a good status job.
Q: What is Bank Marketing?
A: Bank Marketing is to build a brand and its products. It includes Cross Selling of Insurance, Demat A/C etc.
Q: Tell me about your previous job? Why did you leave that job?
A: I worked as a Store Manager in Reliance Retail. I left my job because I wanted to join Banking sector as there are lot of opportunities to grow in future.
Q: What was your function as a Store Manager in previous job?
A: My Job profile in Reliance include Managing stores, Managing staff, Following SOP.
Q: Tell me about your Family Background?
A: My Father is a Retd. Distt. Manager from PUNSUP & my mother is Principal in Primary School.
Q: Who is your Idol?
A: My idol is Mr. Alok Kumar Mishra (CMD of Bank of India).
As he started his career as PO and reached to the CMD position. I would also try to follow his footsteps.
Q. What is Tagline of Bank of India?
A: It is “Relationship beyond Banking”
