Marketing Officer Scale – I (Bank of India)


Q: Ok Rohit, as you belong to Himachal Pradesh, tell me the qualities of people of H.P.?
A: They are simple, honest and hard working.
Q: Why did you shift from Tourism & Airlines Management to MBA in Banking & Insurance?
A: I wanted to upgrade my education so I thought MBA will be the best option for me. As I have interest in Banking, so I chose Banking & Insurance.
Q: These days some Airlines are going through a rough time, what is the reason?
A: I don’t know much about it just this that Kingfisher Airlines has 10,000 corers  of debt & is still asking for loans. Most of its pilots have already switched the job.
Q: What is the difference between Banking & Insurance?
A: In banking you deposit money and have different account like CA/SA and in insurance it is basically - hedging your risk.
Q: Why Insurance Companies and Banks are joining hands?
A: Because it cuts the labour cost for Insurance companies. Bank’s employees can acts as a sales agent and can do the direct selling.
Q: What will be your job profile as Marketing Executive?
A: I’ll be selling the Mutual Funds, Insurance,  Demat  Account and CA/SA.
Q: What is Financial Inclusion?
A: It means to include the low income segment with Banking Industry. Opening of Rural Branches etc.
Q: Do you have bank account? What documents were needed to open that account?
A: Yes, I have account in SBI. Resident proof and identification card is required for opening the Bank Account.
Q: Do PAN Cards have residence address?
A: No, it just have Name and the 16 digit number.
Q: How your MBA will help us?
A: I have learnt Public Dealing, Communication skills, Presentation Skills
